Social Marketing Feedback on Mixx

No News, Commercial Posts Only in Social Marketing Feedback Bookmarking on Mixx

Really, this group is dedicated to what would be otherwise canned for spam, due to commercial content.

Social Marketing Feedback is now fully live, Mixx has given me the go ahead and a quick video is out to show you the basic features of the Social Marketing Mixx Commercial Community.

What can you submit?

  • Salesletters
  • Sales Oriented Articles
  • Commercial Blog posts
  • Press Releases
  • More content up to the group…

Why would you want to do this?

  • Get feedback from professional marketers (us)
  • Testing prior to promotion
  • Social bookmark links you can’t get because of content
  • Exposure otherwise not available
  • Social bookmarking feedback

What cannot be submitted?

  • Porn
  • Hate or Racist content
  • Anything against Mixx TOS besides commercial content
  • Anything the group feels is offensive
  • Illegal, email spam or anything that could hurt someone or get you arrested
  • Anything that Mixx threatens to ban the community for

How can you participate?

Come join Social Marketing Feedback, our new Mixx community.

First of all you will need to sign up to Mixx. After that you can sign in with your Facebook ID.

Then join the Social Marketing Feedback Community. It is open to join, just do not violate our basic TOS and DO NOT submit news articles. We do not tolerate news articles (unless marketing oriented). Take that to the regular Mixx.

Lastly, we are not here to vote one another up. I can do that with my friends list if that is what I am after. What we are here for is to get feed back and if the content is good, then Mixx it. The outgoing links are fully followed so you can gain social bookmarking links that otherwise would not be granted commercial content.

Why Digg just did not do this themselves I do not know. I have suggested it many times. See you in the group. I will be emailing the group twice a week at first to bring us together as a community. After that it will be up to you all how much I send group oriented emails.

No I will not be promoting myself blatantly here. Yes I will be participating heavily and trying to bring us together as a community of social marketers. Merry Christmas! – Chris Lang

Mixx has said Social Marketing Feedback is fine by Mixx TOS and I am moving full speed ahead on Mixx

Once again, thanks Chris for the detailed explanation of how to add to Mixx, and what to do so your submissions do not get you labeled as a spammer. You are the King of Social Marketing Coaches. Since it is a snow day in CA, or at least where I live, I am going to see what I can come up with to add to the group.

Now if I can add this to my RocqueMarketing blog at I will be a happy camper. I think it is worth passing this infomation on, and it would be fun to put info about it on a couple of my blogs.

I know you read your comments here, so what do you think?

Keep up the great work Chris.

Sounds great to me Rocque. It is key that we all participate in the community and second the more links we have with the link text “social marketing” the more link juice the community will have to pass on.

Currently the group is listed under the URL above and under the URL that is returned in the address bar.

I am having the name changed a bit and the URL too because I blew it when I created the community.

I will let you all know. For now the current URL is fine.

Definitely use the link text “social marketing” because it is a highly targeted keyword phrase and the only one we could get listed under in Google. Social bookmarking and Internet marketing are way too competitive.

    I will keep you posted.

And Rocque, have a happy snow day!

Very interesting idea Chris. I think I like it. At first I couldn’t break free of the fact that this is going to be a group of spam.. but then you make the point of pretesting and receiving feedback from other social marketing professionals. Now that has a definite purpose that makes sense.
