How You Can Rock Digg and Why You Should

Digg is weak and about to change drastically in your favor. Why and how you can and should profit from this Digg about face

In today’s post you will learn:

Why Digg is weak right now.

How you can profit from this Digg turmoil.

Why Digg will change to your advantage in the coming months.

Free Software that will give you unfair advantage in Digg.

Why some Digg scripts will get you banned.

Will you take advantage of this or will your competition?

When Digg and FaceBook both embrace and roll out the full release of FaceBook Connect as I believe it is now being called, you will see a huge influx of new users from FaceBook on Digg.

Like 100 Million FaceBook users if that constitutes an influx.

Many of these will be your friends, like me, Chris Lang, you already know well.

You will be able to see your friends Digg activity posted on their FaceBook profiles and you will be able to supposedly take your friends list with you to Digg.

Think about the fact that you can have 5000 friends max on FaceBook and only 1000 in Digg. With a fresh, responsive FaceBook friends list you could join Digg and immediately arrive with a fully populated, powerful group of friends ready to support your Digg submissions on the spot.

How can you set your self up for success and what benefits can you quickly take advantage of? Let’s talk about what is going on over on Digg.

Why Digg is weak right now?

Well first of all the powerful Digg users that have dominated Digg for so long are all laying low trying not to get banned for using scripts on Digg. Digg allowed them to do this since it drove traffic and created page views.

Now they are finally cleaning house, it was a long time coming and it has been brutal.

How you can take advantage of this Digg turmoil.

Right now you can get on the front page of Digg with much less Diggs than ever before.

With the influx of FaceBook users Digg is going to be wide open to who ever wants to take advantage of this.

Previously Digg has been very anti Internet Marketing. Powerful Facebook users that know how to leverage FaceBook contacts for network support and communicate well here will be able to use these skills to support their efforts on Digg.

Basically we are going to take the place over. But only if you KNOW how to use Digg quickly and easily.

FaceBook will change the complete demographics and content of Digg by sheer numbers alone.

Why Digg will change to our advantage in the coming months.

FaceBook has more than 110 million active users and is the 4th most trafficked website in the world. Not to mention the most-trafficked social media site in the world (comScore reports).

100 million! That is more than 5 times the total number of profiles created in the entire history of Digg.

You have the chance to take over Digg and become very powerful due to your huge networking ability and skills. Especially if you are a heavy FaceBook user, or even an average one.

Not to mention Digg has kicked over 2000 powerful experienced Digg users for using scripts that gave them unfair advantages.

While everyone that has dominated Digg now has to do what they had automated with scripts by hand, many have declined to participate at a level that would take them much more time without the help of scripts.

This has leveled the playing field on Digg.

Free Software that will give you unfair advantage in Digg.

Mean while we saw this coming and built a Digg management application that is script free and will not get you banned from Digg.

In fact Digg cannot even tell you are using it because all activity occurs on our servers, not Digg’s.

Why some Digg scripts will get you banned…

The scripts that got many banned were bot type scripts that performed actions for you that you should really be doing by hand.

Or they directly manipulated Digg through the browser of the user while logged in right on Digg’s own pages. I won’t comment on the fools who thought this was not going to end badly.

Chris, will your software get us banned too?

For those who have followed me back to my beginnings on Jack Humphrey’s SMC, Social Marketing Central, you KNOW that I do not endorse social bookmarking spam submission software.

I would never endorse anything that would hurt you in any way.

None of this for us, this is a totally invisible management application that will recommend ways for you to build your Digg profile by hand.

All our software does is save you time on managing your Digg activities but does not interact with Digg itself.

First of all it is not my software. I had lots of input in the latest version of this software, but I am not selling it and it is not mine.

What I have done is get you a clean, bot free, green, whitehat leg up on creating a Digg profile the right way.

In fact, I am not even an affiliate or a JV partner. I just wanted to deliver something that would help you and steer you the right direction on Digg.

So what does this thing really do? Well for now we have to sit tight for a day before I can give you the details.

I can tell you this, I have been instrumental in the development of this software and it has many features that I have always wanted but did not want to have to program my self.

Is it going to cost an arm and a leg, my first born or both?

No, in fact I have negotiated a FREE 90 DAY pass for you to get a jump start in Digg and quickly get your profile built. This is a free FULL VERSION and you do not have to buy anything from the parent site. Will you have to buy something? Of course you will. I have to pay the rent too.

However, the software 3 month FREE pass is yours to keep, no strings attached.

Plus, I will teach you the insider Digg wickedly evil tactics that I have been testing and developing for the last six months.

These are things that only Chris Lang (that’s me), my Digg mastermind group, and top Digg users know and I have never revealed before.

Tomorrow I close this deal and get ready to offer you the Digg education that I wish I had got 9 months ago when we began learning these lessons the hard way.

Later today, when I have the lawyer’s papers in my hands I will immediately send you an email with the link to exactly what this software will do for you.

Then on Tuesday morning I will send you another email with the details of how you can begin using this one of a kind application.

Till then, I suggest you get a Digg account set up and begin acquainting yourself with Digg and look around.

Also, if you are not a FaceBook user, get an account and start finding you way around.

Along with tomorrow’s email I am going to publish a Digg first 30 day tutorial here so you can get a real insider’s take on how to handle your self on Digg.

This was written by my Digg mastermind group and is their take on how to get set up on Digg. I asked them to write this because I look at things from a SEO / conversion rate point of view.

This is just plain how to make the most of Digg from people that use Digg heavily and enjoy doing it. Not one commercial word in it’s body.

It will be right here on my site, free for the taking later today along with the details of the new software I have waiting for you.

Any questions that you would like to ask you will be able to post here and any you would rather be private you can direct to my email address or call me directly. Both are available from my contact page.

Keep your eyes peeled for my email tomorrow; this is going to be fun and REAL interesting.

Talk to you later today, Monday afternoon with more info.

Till then, Get Your Digg On!

Chris Lang

    Hi Chris,

This sounds like a brilliant piece of software and training. Can’t wait to get the lowdown.

Really, this is a true story here.

It just occurred to me that this sounds like total mystery copy, stirring up the pot and creating expectation. I would be telling you all and getting right to it here if I could.

I am waiting for the final touches and I have not even seen the final version.

I am writing this not out of a sense of marketing, but that I have nothing else to do while I wait for everyone else to get out of bed and get to work so I can start getting the public info together on this.

Even the parent site that wrote this software has not even updated it’s site. So even if I was trying to sell you this software I could not, we are all waiting for the release together.

I am chomping at the bit just like you all.

Can’t wait to see what you have in store for us. I would agree that changing the demographic of Digg with Facebook users is a whole new opportunity to connect with our respective niches. Do you have any insight on how the user experience will work to draw Facebook and Digg users together?

    Look forward to seeing more.

I am not sure how they are going to market this melding of two very different groups. The current Digg user has been called “The sewer of the Internet” by many and FaceBook is for more Internet marketing oriented and professional.

Also I just got off the phone with Dr. Ron, the niche prof, and he said that FaceBook is currently thought to have more like 120 to 135 million REAL users. WOW, that would take Digg over like a wild fire.

I would say that we, as professional marketers and more informed Internet users will be able to redefine Digg in any way we want.

Not to mention that you have people like me to give you the “how it is done right” view so that those that want to build whitehat profiles can do it right the first time.

Just the fact that a FaceBook user with a powerful group and a responsive friends list will walk into Digg loaded for bear, not starting from scratch. The possibilities are endless.

This is exciting and even clearer to me now than it was after our 1 hour phone conversation yesterday. Some of the details were sketchy but the ability to see buries and keep tabs on friends with this tool are going to be very cool.

When doing my consulting and training with clients the biggest issue I get is “I don’t have the time for that”. Clients always want to say this and some really believe it. Any software which is whitehat and won’t get you banned which also saves you time is a godsend.

This looks like a Kick Butt piece of Software!!!

They way in which you are promoting it is even better!!!

I love this all this new stuff you keep coming out with. Keep up with all of your insight and wisdom…

Looking forward to getting my hands on the software & Lessons.

“…a totally invisible management application that will recommend ways for you to build your Digg profile by hand…”

Sounds like an article converted into an .exe (an e-book) with
good tips on what to put in you Digg profile?

    “…sounds like total mystery copy…” :)

I’ve never heard of so much ‘legal intervention’ needed

Well, you got me interested anyhow and I will certainly look forward to it.

    Hi Chris,
What if you already have a Digg account, but have used it sparingly?
can you have more than 1 Digg account?

  11. Posted October 14, 2008 at 5:44 am | Permalink

I do not recommend using multiple Digg accounts. If you want to use your new Facebook based account then abandon the previous version or contact Digg and they can change things so you can connect the old account to your new Facebook connect account.
